The above machines are all work positioners: machines designed to raise up a pallet or other goods to waist height. They are ideal for loading or unloading pallets and for order picking. They prevent the operator from having to repeatedly bend and stretch to reach the goods.

What type of lifter do I need? |
| |
If you are lifting open pallets(pallets without bottom boards –see picture), a simple pallet scissor lift will be the cheapest solution. However, bear in mind that scissor lifts cannot be moved with the forks raised up; this feature is very useful for order picking and therefore please refer to our WrapoverHigh Lifts page if you would like a machine that can be moved when the pallet is at waist height
Closed pallets(pallets with bottom boards –see picture), cannot be lifted using a scissor lift. You will need a High Lifter with legs that straddle your pallet -please refer to our Straddle High Lifts page. If you’re a lifting a mixture of open and closed pallets, again choose a Straddle High Lifter as this can handle both types. |

For non palletised goods, choose from our Lift Tables range. |
