The following pages feature a variety of weighscales suitable for both palletised and non-palletised applications. Weighscales can perform a variety of roles from simple check weighing of goods, to complex counting, recording and transmitting of inventory data to a PC.
For palletised product, weighscales can be fitted to manual or powered pallet trucks. Their mobility make them particularly versatile and they are very useful when order picking. Trade-approved scales are also available (data taken from these weighscales is approved for commercial purposes).
Weighbeams can handle both palletised and non-palletised applications, and as they are usually fixed to the floor, they have an advantage over a mobile pallet truck of being less prone to damage. However they can also be left unfixed, allowing the width between the beams to be adjusted to accomodate loads of many different sizes. |
